Morning Miss Andie!!!
Oooh! Spring pictures!
Morning everyone!
Morning CabinGirl!!!
Hi refinish! I’m so excited this morning, everybody went to school, on the school bus. 🙂
Woo-hoo! An early start to my work day.
LOL Congrats!!!!
Olivia and I decided everybody could use a nice hint of spring.
I’m ready for it. We have a couple inches of granular shite mush all over everything today. Ick.
Uh, that should have read granular WHITE mush…although my typo kind of makes sense…need coffee now.
I thought you were using it on purpose. 🙂
All we have left are patches of ice and snow where it’s always shady and since it’s going to be above freezing for the next week, I expect that to be gone pretty soon. Our mush is muddy clay.
It is beautiful!!! I have weeds blooming in my yard as it has been back in the 70’s and 80’s again. LOL
Anything blooming would be okay by me.
Did you see ww made an appearance … in last night’s cafe?
Morning Olivia and everyone
I hate I missed her last night. At least we know she’s doing OK.
Yeah I was bummed out to have missed her but I left her a message anyway in case she happens to check back in.
Thanks for thinking to mention this.
Yes, I went back and saw that you had left a message.
hmmm, perhaps Kos’ rotating blogroll isn’t such a bad thing after all O:-D
Hooray for ManEegee! 🙂
too bad that I have had a severe case of the lazies wrt my writing.
How goes it, CG? Did you make it to the Manzana Grande this weekend?
LOL. Guess you have some incentive now? 🙂
Manzana grande, not yet. This coming weekend…hopefully no one will be sick!
We did get outdoors to play with my new camera this past weekend though…what have you been up to?
pix are awesome, it must’ve been nice to have both boys there to enjoy the outdoors.
Work, work, work for me. I barely had a chance last weekend to relax since the New Year. Pretty mundane life lately, which is much better than chaos 🙂
Hope everyone gets back to 100% soonest!
or at least I think it is. I have started using clipmarks and was just using it to save clips t their site. With the latest version, you can actually post a clip to your blog. You can check out the look of a quick post I did just a couple of minutes ago at my blog.

I am sure I will be able to use it for more extensive post in the future as I work with it more. The program is free!!!! and I know it works with firefox.

Oh, and also hello!!!!
Morning all.
We’re socked in with fog and drizzle this morning. I can only see the trees closest to the house, past them everything is a uniform light grey.
Obviously, this is a conspiracy to keep me from getting any work done on the house before Imogen gets home on Friday. Unfortunately, the next step in my current project require exterior painting and bring home some drywall sheeting, both of which can’t happen in the wet.
Oh look, a whopping great Huntsman just ran behind the CD/DVD storage cabinet. I won’t try for a photo out of deference to the you-know-what-aphobes.
it’s like a sick obsession. i had to engage the google. ACK!
Ack! indeed. I’m still getting used to Huntsmans. They look so different from the you-know-whats that I’m used to, that they set off my atavistic fear-of-the-unknown radar. Luckly, Imogen has no such problem and takes them outside for me.
Of course, I have no such problem with the native snakes, which are extremely poisonous. Which reminds me, I still have to catch the one living on the west side of the house. Elbow high welding gloves have many uses. As I told someone the other day, better me than the dog – because if I get bit, at least I’ll know to take myself to the hospital.
Those are cool-looking spiders. We really need a picture for thursday critter blogging (with appropriate warnings of course).
I’ll see what I can do. Huntsmans run down their prey, as their name implies. And they are just as fast, if not faster, when running away.
I just looked behind the cabinet and it’s not there. So it’s either under it, or somewhere in the computer desk. :O
I just up-ended the DVD cabinet (it’s small), and the Huntsman not there. Ruh-ro (gratuitus Scoobie Doo refernce).
Oh look, it’s even foggier than when I got up.
Fast varmints are a pain to photograph — I’ve been trying for years to get a picture of a blue racer but never come close.
Blue Racers are purty. They’re similar in shape and size to our Copperheads. The one living next to our house is young and has a very bright orange stripe down both sides. Like many snakes, they fade as they get older and copperheads usually end up a dark grey color. If I catch it, I’ll be sure to get a photo.
One year we had a nest of babies in the firewood. I regret to say that we did not try to reason them out of the location.
I have been kind and not posted any pictures of the wild hairy critters that were out there with CBtE in the desert…as big as your hand, they were. Ewww.
Those Huntsmans are creepy.
one of those hairy critters crawl on my shoes before. They run rampant in this area. I think the fact that they jump is what gives me the heebie jeebies.
Maybe you could post a well warned Hairy Critter thread, as I’m rather fond of the desert varieties, having grown up with them.
I used to work at a pet store that sold some, and once they get used to being handled, they’re very fascinating to interact with – if a bit prickly.
to post them, no one is forcing me to look
[peering through fingers]
😉
Morbid fascination…tee-hee.
There were scorpions there too. What was I thinking? 🙂
don’t bother me, which is weird. I guess all those years of shaking them out of shoes and bedsheets built up my tolerance for them. Plus, they don’t jump.
And yes, I can be very morbid 🙂
I love how those spiders kick off their hairs at you when they’re scared…link
Congrats, Manny!
loved your snow dog pic, btw. paz
opening a lounge but kept getting erros even with just cutting and pasting from old dairies. I will leave it to someone with more skills.
