MT’s daughter’s high school was the one that was hit, but they are all fine. She got the warning phone call before a lot of other folks and got to school in time to get the kids to safety.
FM here. We’ve had bad weather, but no tornados here. There were some north and south of us, but none here so far. I just heard over the news that in Wilcox County, AL that 13 have been killed. I’m not sure if that’s right, but the local news just said so.
We’ve got a little bit more weather coming in and I’ll check back in a little while.
I grew up in arkansas and we had many more tornados out there. Funny thing is before we knew better, my mother used to load all of us kids into the car and drive up and down a dirt road. As a kid I worried more about ending up in a ditch than any tornados.
The area I wnt to college had 13 “Killer” Tornadoes in one night. The campus was the lowest spot in the county and they skipped over us, but we watched them touch down all around us. I then helped with clean up in the area for the next two weeks instead of attending classes.
I bet not but I have to cheer on FMom and George when I get a chance. LOL Every dang time I get on the phone Reba comes and starts talking to me until I get her a treat.
She mainly just stands in mud puddles (letting all that hair on her feet soak up a goodly amount before asking to come inside). For rolling she prefers poop or dead things.
we just had a freakin’ earthquake here about half an hour ago — no damage or injuries here, but a friend of mine had to pick up some crap that fell off the shelves.
Magnitude 4.4, epicenter in the Lafayette area so most likely the Hayward Fault; I’m hoping it’s just letting off pressure instead of getting a Big One…
Tornadoes in FamilyMan’s neck of the woods…hope he’s okay.
How are y’all doing?
Anyone hear from FAmily Man? And on the news I saw that a big tornado hit the high school where MT lives. Hope they’re all okay!

No word from FM yet.
As soon as I heard about it, the first thing I thought of was MT and her family. I’m glad they’re OK.
school’s destroyed and nine people died, but I hear MT got her kids out in time.
OMG> I have been so caught up in things here I hadn’t heard. I am glad she is okay and am sending thoughts of Love, Healing & safety to all.

Thanks CG. I’m back now and the weather has passed.
Just an update. I just heard it was 5 killed in Wilcox County. It’s southeast of us.
I am so glad you are okay.
Hi Refinish.
Yep we’re here. FMom is calling my brothers and sister to see how they are. I’m sure they fine though.
I will send good thoughts!!!!
I’m sorry to hear about the tornado deaths. I’ve been close to a few tornados when travelling, and they’re damn scary.

Since I’ve lived here we’ve only had some bad straight line winds, but nothing severe.
Since everything has quieten down now, I’ve got to make dinner real fast.
Back in a minute.
I’m back. Who’s around?
I’m sort of here. LOL
Hi again RF. What cha doing to be sort of here? 🙂
I am checking on some different blogs and all that. LOL
I’m still in the habit of dropping by the blogs I visit usually in the mornings. Andi doesn’t have anything on me in the boring department. 🙂
well as I have some info I posted and dairies I am watching…. LOL plus I love keeping up with breaking news when I can.
Well I guess I’m keeping with my being lazy. 🙂
LOL I would be stunned if you did anything different.
I would too. 🙂
Sorry about the deadly weather today but glad you and yours are okay.
Hope you had a good day.
We had thunderstorms all day and tons of rain so it was a pretty blah day.
The rain missed us and the high winds they talked about here never happened. LOL
Hi Andi and thanks.
They still have some bad weather passing through, but it’s past us now. I was just glad to hear MT and her family were OK.
I guess that’s an upside of having my nose buried in work — I didn’t even know there was something to worry about.
If it hadn’t been for FMom and George I would have probably been napping. But noooooooo! They had me about as nervous as them today.
LOL!!!! Go FMom and George!!!!
I’m not thinking that for some reason.
I bet not but I have to cheer on FMom and George when I get a chance. LOL Every dang time I get on the phone Reba comes and starts talking to me until I get her a treat.
George does that when my s-i-l is in the house. She always sneaks him treats.
It appears it’s going to be a quiet night here, and I’ve already taken medicine for a headache, so I think I’ll call it a night.
Everyone have a good night in the pond.
Feel better soon and stay safe!!!!
John Edwards President
I just ordered this shirt to wear when I see John Edwards next Wed. LOL
and everything here has that fresh-scrubbed sweet-smelling post-rain feel to it.
The birdies are twittering and the frogs are chirruping.
I love days like this.
and now Luna can roll in mud puddles. LOL
She mainly just stands in mud puddles (letting all that hair on her feet soak up a goodly amount before asking to come inside). For rolling she prefers poop or dead things.
LOL sounds like my girls. LOL
Dogs are fairly predictable in this regard.
Oh, another good time to stand in a puddle is when we are out somewhere and were just about to get back in the car.
I keep towels in the trunk.
I have beach towels to cover the seats and extras to try and dry them off. LOL

Good night, all…
I hope everything is still okay!!!!
