Who knew Ann Coulter had the power to break some of the mainstream media’s hold on the Obama – Clinton duel? But she did when she spewed off this line:
I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word “faggot”
Then the Edwards campaign used to opportunity to ask for Coulter Cash from its supporters to the tune of $100,000. A very smart move on the Edwards part, but the Gay community still wants Gay marriage.

Rather than sinking to the same level of shameful smearing, Bonior wants Edwards supporters to help the campaign raise 100,000 of “Coulter Cash” in a week. Bonior’s cash call may help the campaign pay its bills, but will it help pay its debt to the gay community? Sappho-journo Pam Spaulding says, “Hells no, motherfucker”.
But Edwards’ makes some valid points as written the San Francisco Chronicle:
“What I’ve learned is that if you don’t have the courage to speak out against it — no matter who says it, and no matter who it’s leveled at — then it becomes tolerable,” he added. “And it’s not tolerable, any more than the language I heard leveled at African Americans when I was young.”
I hope Edwards understands now that for some Americans the two Americas they see are Gay and Straight… and the Gays are the ones that get this crap ALL THE TIME. I hope now that he got just an ultra-minor taste of it, he will begin to understand why Gay marriage is vital to all of us.
