Pretty good. I spent 4 hours reading emails. LOL I will spend most of the rest of the week doing nothing but self studies to catch up on all the mess that5 has changed since I have been out. LOL
Great photo this morning…looks as cold there as it is here. But at least it’s snowing. We’re supposed to geta couple of inches. Nice weather to snuggle up in my office and write in (which is a good thing).
Refinish, I’m glad you’re enjoying being back to work, in spite the email glut. 🙂
You know it’s the one who retaliates that gets it.
I was simply pointing out the humor of flying acorns which I guess means windy in these here parts.
My sister is safely back in Cleveland, her NC tan fading in the 18 degree weather – but at least she looks better under the flourescent lights in her office. You people who work for a living are so pathetic.
She is still completely crazy and off of her schedule from a week of new and exciting people to jump on and annoy. And she sort of got molested at the dog park over the weekend when Mr. Nature took her and an unaltered boxer cornered her. Now she’s intimidated to go there and sticks close to me.
Maybe it’s fate since that is how Hopeful got his name. He was running through the woods (having been dumped) and came across us and our dog Puck and he tried to mount her and she (having been fixed and weighing about 40 pounds less than him) knocked the shit out of him. And so he just followed her (us) home, keeping this pretty-please look on his face.
You know it’s snowing and the kids are praying for a whole 2 inches so they get sent home early…I don’t want them to come home early because I need to get some work done and get ready for CBtY’s birthday on Friday.
Really, it’s sweet – they DECIDED that they wanted their children to be close together. Gag. Welfare, WIC, fights where the police are called, drinking, drug use, dropping the baby off with Mr. Nature’s ex and then disappearing for days on end with no word – and they DECIDED another would be a swell idea.
C is off this week but is camping with friends, R is off next week but will be working and camping with friends, and B is off the second week in April – I think.
The good news — the spouse reports for retraining on Monday! Gives us the rest of the week and this weekend to get crap done around here, then Monday it’s back to what passes for normal!
Well, looks like we’ve weathered this crisis at least…
Hi everyone, the Welcome Wagon has arrived for the week. I’m gonna leave this thread open for general chit/chattering. Hope your week is treating you well so far. paz
Morning Miss Andi!!!
How was the return to work?
Pretty good. I spent 4 hours reading emails. LOL I will spend most of the rest of the week doing nothing but self studies to catch up on all the mess that5 has changed since I have been out. LOL
Glad you can ease back in to it.
Hi Andi and Refinish!

It’s been cold here for a couple of days but it’s warming up to the 40s today and it’s supposed to stay in the 40s and 50s.
I’m looking at my weather icon and it says 64 degrees today with flying acorns and white oak leaves.
Yeah and in a month it’ll be a wilted leaf dripping with the dew from 90% humidity.
nyah, nyah.
You’re cruel this morning. You need some more coffee. 😉
She started it!

I couldn’t agree with you more on the pathetic part. I want to be retired when I grow up.
So HJ has happily returned to the dog park?

Maybe I should rename Mr. Nature. 🙂
LOL!
:::wipes cappuccino off computer screen:::
I humbly pass my wednesday morning “mean” title on to you.
Can I just be retired without growing up? 🙂
I did it! Ok, my guilt about being a slug is overwhelming me this morning. How’s the weather there, CG? Nice and warm? heh heh.
You know it’s snowing and the kids are praying for a whole 2 inches so they get sent home early…I don’t want them to come home early because I need to get some work done and get ready for CBtY’s birthday on Friday.
How old is going to be – 12? Maybe it’s time for a new little one, eh? 😉
We just found out Mr. Nature’s daughter is pregnant again with the drug dealer boyfriend. We just found out yesterday – and she’s due in…..APRIL!!!!
April, that’s less than a month away…Do she and the boyfriend know why that keeps happening? 😉
Yep, 12. How can that be? I don’t feel any older than 25…
Really, it’s sweet – they DECIDED that they wanted their children to be close together. Gag. Welfare, WIC, fights where the police are called, drinking, drug use, dropping the baby off with Mr. Nature’s ex and then disappearing for days on end with no word – and they DECIDED another would be a swell idea.
Those must be really good drugs.
I suppose they DECIDED not to mention their DECISION to anyone until the last minute, too?
On a completely different note, isn’t it time for college spring break about now? You having more company soon?
C is off this week but is camping with friends, R is off next week but will be working and camping with friends, and B is off the second week in April – I think.
Actually, when you retire you get to stop being a grown-up.
Sounds like a plan, then.
The bad news, I’ve got a cold. 🙁
