Up to catch the last hour of one of my sports shows — and going to try and resist going back to bed.

Feel like a bit of a heel today — spouse woke up with a slight headache, but I had to play the “heavy” and insist he go in for training today. I don’t want a repeat of the past year! He took some stuff, showered and felt a bit better — he’s having breakfast right now. I still hate myself a little bit for being tough on the boy…but maybe if I’d been a bit tougher at appropriate times in the past 6 years, we wouldn’t have gotten into this predicament in the first place. sigh (Now I feel like I know what CG’s going through with CBtE.)

Got a few things done yesterday, but not as much as I would have liked — trying to learn to pace myself. Main task today is menu planning, so we can shop after he gets home.

I’ve got to get FMom fed and then it’s another day out on the lawn. I’m hoping to get the whole thing done by the end of the day. FMom walked around the house with me yesterday and told me where not to cut with the weed eater because that where her flowers are. I told her OK, but knowing I don’t know a flower from a weed, I have a feeling a lot of flowers are going to give up their lives for the cause.

I heard the guys picking up all the leafs, stick and pinecones I put on the road yesterday cussing about so much to pick up. They aint seen nothing yet!

Hope everyone is doing fine in the pond today.
