I meant to do this earlier but I’ve had a busy week, to say the least. I’ve been reading Booman for quite a while now, and wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself since I’ve been invited to post here.
My name is Terrance and I’ve been blogging for about 3 1/2 years, since starting my blog The Republic of T. in October of 2003. I write about a wide range of topics, but most often about gay & lesbian issues, as well as about being a gay dad. I’ve also written a lot about religion and politics.
Most recently, I did a little “meta blogging” that caused quite a stir. Once everything died down I posted a wrap-up that I’d like to post here too, if everyone isn’t tired of subject by now.
There’s much more I could say, by way of introducing myself, but the “About” page on my blog is pretty up to date. So, I’ll just say how much I appreciate the opportunity to post here, and I look forward to getting to know the community here at Booman.
Welcome Terrance. My uncle was a theatre professor at U of G. Stanley Longman.
Welcome to Booman Tribune! It’s always good to have a new voice.
Can someone reassure me that the fact that I agreed with Geraldo (after seeing his appearance on Bill O’s show) is NOT a sign of the apocalypse? I’m afraid, very afraid.
I may have to spend the weekend reading The Nation.
in common. Bush opened Saddam’s vault looking for WMD and found even less than some empty gin bottles.
that a broken clock is at least right twice a day… 😉
And welcome Terrance — I LOVE your diaries over at DKos. It’ll be good to have some front page diaries from a non-heterosexual male perspective… 🙂
Nice to see you posting here, Terrance.
I went to your About page — varied and kewl background you have. 🙂
Looking forward to your posts.
Second olivia, followed the links and look forward to reading your FP posting Terrance…again Welcome.
I, too, read your about page and am delighted to have a new voice here. It sounds like you will have a different perspective than many of us, and that can be a very good thing. Welcome to the Pond!
Hello, Hello!
I don’t know why it took so long to say “Hello!”
With apologies to Lennon and McCartney
;>)
welcome Terrance.
This is a good place – jump on in and make yourself at home.
Hi Terrance.
Welcome, and allow me to introduce myself as well – using your banner format, I’m:
white. lesbian. mother to far too many critters. vegetarian. wiccan (non-religous sort). radical. I’d also add: living outside the US, and dyslexic.
I look forward to conversing on your posts.
Welcome TerrenceDC! Thanks for joining us at the pond.
I think I remember you from dk (from witch I was banned)
Welcome!!!!!!!
Hi. And welcome to the pond.
Welcome to the pond!
people love the subject here, terrance, every time i write a post about it i get recommended.
in fact, the last time i wrote about it was when i wrote a post about your post writing about the post i wrote at my blog about atrios not writing about what i wrote about.
what?
Some of us would rather shoot ourselves in the face than read another word on the subject, but we’re probably outnumbered, and with the exciting advances in scrollbar technology that have taken place over the last two decades, it probably won’t be too hard to avoid it. Welcome Terrance.
Pandas! Where are my Pandas?
It was determined by a committee of my betters that the pandas are bad for freedom, democracy and, indeed, even ponies.
