How are you doing today?
I’m doing well. We had a good, cleansing rain last night and this morning is sunny and sparkling like a jewel.
See?…my coffee has kicked in!
I’m still waiting. But I think the fact that it’s snowing so hard outside my window right now all I can see is white will cancel out any happy feelings I’ll get from my caffeine fix.
Sigh … better go.

It’s really pouring down outside – don’t feel like leaving the house.
Morning, ask. We had that rain yesterday and today is beautiful. Hopefully it will wash away all of the winter crud leaving your neck of the woods in full springtime.
The forecast looks pretty good for the weekend.

Weather seems to be a big topic this morning. Raining and in the low 40’s in SW Ohio. Cold and rainy all week, but that’s just Ohio.

I know a little bit about Ohio having lived there my whole life until 5 years ago! Cleveland area. Are you around Dayton/Cincinnati?
Yes, I’m about right in the middle between Dayton and Cincinnati. Pretty much been here all my life. Born in Virginia when my dad was in the Army but we moved here when I was very young.
When I lived in Cleveland I used to envy you people down there because it seemed you were consistently much warmer and sunnier than we were. My relatives in Cleveland are still under 6 inches of snow right now. I do NOT miss that!
Yeah, the issue with the lake effect snow is a big deal in that part of the state. Our winters are definitely a lot easier from the snow standpoint. And the wind, that damn wind, off the lake is brutal. If Cleveland winters are all you’ve known then it’s probably tolerable. But me, I must be a pansy. Our pseudo-winters of late have been just fine with me.
