I think we did.
What are you up to this weekend?
Tonight; quiet at home. Don’t know what curly got from NetFlix this week.
Tomorrow – meet/pick up young asklet at his karate class.
Sunday, they’ll have ‘Sports Day’ at school.
I think his big sister has her own plans.
Sounds like a nice weekend. What do they do on Sports Day at school?
Hehe,
I printed the program and forgot it at the printer when leaving the office.
Apart from the usual, such as soccer, volleyball and basketball – I think they have all sorts of ‘silly’ games.
Big plus; an unusual assortment of ethnic foods made by parent volunteers (fund raising for the various clubs).
I’d totally go just for the ethnic food. ๐
Who’s complaining? ๐
I’ll bring a good book and spend most of my time in the cafeteria.
Happy Together – The Turtles
Can You Dig It – Brenton Wood
Sunday Morning – Maroon 5
Corazon Espinado – Santa featuring Maná
Doo Wop (That Thing) – Lauryn Hill
Violeta – Ozomatli
Sittin In The Park – GQ
Float On – The Floaters
Cumbia del Sol – Little Joe y La Familia
Tata Dios – Linda Ronstadt con Mariachi Cobre
I knew there would be some Ozomatli in there… ๐
And Linda Ronstadt is a nice surprise too.
What are you up to this weekend?
the new Ozo CD is non-stop party. Although that song is the lone ballad regarding the thoughts of a soldier in Iraq.
The weekend will be spent catching up on vacation laundry and going to a neighborhood fiesta for food and music.
You?
I’ll have to check that CD out.
Me? Baseball practice for CBtY at the batting cages later tonight, followed by baseball game tomorrow afternoon.
The CBs are off to their dad’s for the night Saturday…what to do, what to do…hopefully not laundry. ๐
Oh, and I’m hoping to catch Lake of Fire (a documentary on abortion) on Sunday.
Ok. You guys made me curious. But the speakers on curly’s laptop are shot. But tomorrow, when back home…

in time for FRT!
Weekend plans: heading down to South County tomorrow so the spouse can familiarize himself with some of the routes down there in case he has to drive any of them; he expects to be released from training today and officially start work on Monday. Other than that, mainly laundry, grocery shopping, and assorted other domestic activities.
What are you drinking?
A fish and cheese cocktail, flavored with the essence of older penguin and sprinkled with crushed Imodium.
The crushed Imodium really complements the essence of decaying, I mean older, penguin, doesn’t it?
Absolutely, and your gastrointestinal tract will thank you the next day.
