Another scoundrel:
Randall L. Tobias, the deputy secretary of state responsible for U.S. foreign aid, abruptly resigned yesterday after he was asked about an upscale escort service allegedly involved in prostitution, U.S. government sources said…
…According to ABC News, Tobias said he contacted the escort service “to have gals come over to the condo to give me a massage” and that there had been “no sex” involved.
Just so we are clear, you pay extra for a happy ending.
The term “handjob” is often considered a slang or informal word rather than a clinical term. Therefore, some people take offense to the word when used in general conversation. An academic article would usually refer to a handjob as manual stimulation of a male partner, masturbating a male partner, or manual sex to a penis.
Manual stimulation of the penis by another individual may also informally be called:
* H.J. – An abbreviated form of “Hand Job”.
* Happy ending – If it follows a full-body massage.
And if you don’t want a happy ending, you go to a normal massage parlor, pay normal rates, and you don’t resign when it is revealed that you like to pay for a massage.
A difference between Republicans and Democrats: Republicans have to pay for it.
are you kidding me?
you are actually describing the difference between men and women…men have to pay for it….which is why its illegal….republicans do tip better though.
this whole issue disgusts me for obvious reasons…im horrified a colleague would hurt people with info on her clients….im horrified liberals will use the issue to bash republicans instead of bashing them for what they really should be bashed for….im horrified this is still an illegal activity in this country….im horrified americans even care who is getting a handjob in private.
im going to spend the rest of today committing civil disobedience, breaking the sex laws, and making enough money to pay all my bills and have enough left over to give my daughter the money she needs to pay for her lupus meds that arent covered by her health insurance.
stupid fucking country
I’m just wondering why Republicans refuse to resign when they commit real crimes (Gonzo and Rove are the first of many that come to mind), but promptly throw themselves under the bus over sex.
because sex is dirty…and there is such shame surrounding it….especially if the other cavemen find out he had to pay for it.
those other crimes are crimes of power…….and their penises grow bigger every day they get away with them…..they are admired by the other cavemen for their ability to do what they do.
men have to pay for it….
Yes and no. In general, men have to pay for it, but high-status men don’t. Clinton didn’t have to pay for that famous blow job. Rock stars can have a different girl every night. The point I was making is that although Republicans might have power, that doesn’t translate into the sexual attractiveness that normally goes along with power. So even high-status Republicans have to pay for it. Wolfowitz had to pay his mistress by getting her a raise.
m horrified a colleague would hurt people with info on her clients.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with outing a hypocritical slimebag who is doing his best to make AIDS spread faster (Bush’s Global AIDS “Coordinator” Denigrates Condoms). There is nothing necessarily morally wrong with paying for sex, so getting outed only hurts him because of his and his constituency’s hypocrisy. Furthermore, your colleague is under investigation, so she might have outed this guy as part of an effort to protect herself.
Good luck with work today.
Seeing he’s such a conservative you would think he would save the money and do it himself.
the price of petroleum jelly may have been too much and the thought of having to buy it too.
Oh, I see… he’s using Bill Clinton’s definition of sex….(as in “I did not have sex with that woman…”)… or maybe he just buys into the Abstinence Only mantra that only vaginal intercourse counts?
(Personally, I don’t give a damn who he fools around with on his own time and his own dime. But it’s still amusing to me how many members of the “Family values” party get caught with their pants down…. or their fist stuck in the cookie jar because they tried to grab too many goodies at once… )
Your comment about the cookie jar reminded me of a story I heard many years ago.
Some people are so greedy, they’ll never drop the banana.
Given all that has been going on this strikes me as very funny. The only thing Republicans are ashamed of is having sex.
Yes and they just refuse to drop their bananas (see my earlier comment). In addition, I suspect volumes of suppressed anger due to early traumatic potty training experiences.
If this had been any other bureaucrat, it might not even be news. But it’s important to remember that this is the guy who is denying condoms to millions of people in underdeveloped countries for “religious reasons.” How shameful!
Tobias claims he was being massaged for sciatica. Who the hell uses an escort service for that type of massage. There are licensed massage therapists for that type of massage, its a helluva lot cheaper, too!
for the same reason i take out my vibrator when i have a headache….the chemicals released by the brain during sex mitigate pain and body aches and leave you with a feeling of well being….and when you have a hot woman doing it for you even better.
i think im gonna raise my fees.
for the record, I don’t care that the guy pays for sex, I care that he lies about it. Actually, no…I don’t even care about that. If he bills the government…then I’d care. A little.
Handgate.
This is no big deal. When I lived in Manhattan on the ground floor of a York Avenue apartment house just off 72nd Steet years ago, the apartment opposite me served as a brothel for UN dignitaries. I saw them coming (so to speak) and going daily. It surprises me that someone should even be interested in someone else’s sexual proclivities. Whose business is it anyway? Remember the Monica Lewinski scandal when Clinton was president? Not even his wife held that against Bill. Of course, she was probably harboring an ambition to be president even then … but still, it was their business and only entered the public domain because it occurred in a room just off the oval office. I don’t expect many people to buy my viewpoint on this blog, not as long as it’s the Conservative-Hating/Bush- Hating group that it is. I actually haven’t seen so much vitriol in politics since the Nixon days. It might be good to remember the pain that Nixon’s hatred caused the nation then. I’d like to see less hatred and more debate of the issues by people who simply differ. But for some reason, people seem to despise Bush, and particularly Cheney. I want you to know that I’m not too crazy about either myself but when it came time to vote, after studying the issues, I just could not bring myself to vote for Kerry. I could not figure out where he stood, and neither, I believe, could he. Consequently, I believe Bush got elected by default. But let me say this, while I’m a registered Republican, I could easily vote for a Democrat who presented a more acceptable political view than the opposition. Of course, I’m so old fashioned that I think of a political opponent as “the loyal opposition.” This is a very old way to look at things but it would certainly serve to restore civility to the political debate. And I know many may respond that there’s no room for civility when American men are dying in a stupid war. But by an large, those men are volunteers, people who return to the United States and usually have nothing but praise for what we’ve done for the Iraqi people. Don’t forget, we’ve eliminated Saddam, possibly the worst dictator since Adolph Hitler. We’ve established a Democracy, given women the right to vote and attend school, freed them from a tradition that was so brutal that they were practically non-human. And of course, we’ve eliminated state-sponsored torture and institutionalized rape. Now we’re gradually withdrawing from our occupation. Where did we go wrong? Best always, Johnbouncin
