Sean Hannity made this point over and over: we are the “Nut Roots”. I thought as an epithet that it really lacked the slicing and dicing these folks normally do. As a matter of fact, I thought “Nut Roots” sounded nourishing and comforting, something that is sorely needed these days.
And the admission that we are “roots” was telling, I thought. We are grounded and we are supporting and we everything that wingnuts are not. The very name tells you that they are aery fairy, not grounded and not even centered as you can imagine them trying to lift all those nuts and keep them in the air!

So, as grounded, centered citizens, I feel it is our duty to support the US in the best manner possible and that means, to me, grounding all those wingnuts for a while, so real growth can sprout. I see our task is to let our roots down even deeper, make our presence even greater by that strength.
Add to that the message from Chief Tecumseh:
Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their views and demand that they respect your. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life seek to make your life long and of service to your people. Perpare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a stranger if in a lonely place. Show respect to all people, but grovel to none. WHen you arise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies in yourself.
When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.
Right now most of our challenges are earth challenges: Global Warming, Global Warring, Global Whoring (global conglomerates). Although it is a monumental task to get those things on a better track, what better death song could we create?
