A bunny in the sun.
Last night was the longest night of the year in the southern hemisphere. Which means the days have been short and cold (around 8-12C during the day and zero at night), so a bunny has to soak up whatever warmth he can find whenever and wherever he can find it.
not after last winter here…….
don’t know if you saw this keres, but the Guardian UL, had a capturing australia photo comp going on, and just published the winner(s):

Very nice photo. From the tropical color of the ocean in the background, I’d say that was taken somewhere way up north, where it’s nice and toasty hot and any shady spot is a blessing. Thanks for sharing it.
I clicked on your link, and that photo was taken in Exmouth, Western Australia, which is right on the Indian Ocean and a town I’ve actually been to. And yes, the water was warm and clear and beautiful to swim in. I don’t think I saw a wallaby there. I did see lots of fish.
of Hopeful trudging through the woods. He’s soooo slow that getting a decent pic is snap … shot.
Loverly shot, as usual.
Yep — he’s sure is a handsome fella. 😉
Yes he is, but I was refering to the overall composition – not to take anything away from Hopefull (although Giddy remains my favorite).
Giddy is just a year or so younger but she’s still really active so she and Sniff are difficult subjects in the early morning light; Hopeful is just perfect.
… is a perfect word to describe Hopeful in that photo Andi!
Thanks for more Albert keres … he is the sweetest curmudgeonliest bunny on the internets. And that photo of Luna sleeping is adorable. 🙂
