Well, I just finished up a chorizo brunch that I cooked for myself (the Mexican, not Italian variety). Now I’m sitting on my porch with a gigantic glass of lemonade, the day narrated with the sound of the breeze going through the nearby mesquite tree and the occasional hum of the dove and her chicks that made their home there.
Gotta enjoy this before the sun moves to this side of the building and everything ignites with the fire of summer.
I’m sitting on my front porch instead of the back one I call an office and polishing the rough draft of the new book. Hopefully I’ll be done Wednesday and ready to send to beta readers. I’m really looking forward to getting this one off my plate.
Hi KMc! I meant to tell you the other day that one of my friends was raving about WebMage the other day (not knowing that we have crossed paths online) – it was very cool and wanted to let you know that you had another fan in Az. Many good vibes for your pen and mind as you wrap up the next book.
Thanks for the note, and the vibes. It’s always cool to hear that someone likes the book. Pass a hello along to your friend as well if you get the chance.
in the HEAT! It didn’t freeze overnight, but it’s still wintry weather. And, at some point I’m going to have to go out in it and cut a hole under the eave to run some ducting through.
the sun moved to my side of the building so that caused the chain reaction of moving me inside – as a former resident of the southwest, you should know that our summers are barely bearable 🙂 I’d give anything for wintry conditions anytime of the year, ours just don’t seem to cut it. Hope no one (albert) is frying whiskers today!
Hi!
Thought we needed a new place for brunch, since the old place was so crowded. 🙂
for all of us to go off and do our Sunday thing. 🙂
Have a good bike ride.
See ya later.
hey, i recongize those golden hues in your new sig-line pic! 🙂
oh yeah, the saguaros too, I guess…
Sunset, saguaros and the Tuscson Mountains — it could be more perfect if I’d been able to get salsa in it. 😉
Howdy folks!!!! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!!!! I will be going to see Sicko this afternoon and am looking forward to it.
Here is a video I did for the Edwards campaign.
I had my Sunday Nap, and I wake up to see Angels and Bums..what a country!
Note: In my world, Bum is still an honorable profession.
The photo was not a Julian Beever rendering – I swear!
Also, I thought it interesting how the caution paint on the steps had a decidedly golden cast while she was there;-)

Hello from Monday, everyone.
the sun moved to my side of the building so that caused the chain reaction of moving me inside – as a former resident of the southwest, you should know that our summers are barely bearable 🙂 I’d give anything for wintry conditions anytime of the year, ours just don’t seem to cut it. well it was balmy 77 degress here in Mid-America, although cloudy I’ll take it for the first of july.
We were in the mid 70’s, too, though fairly sunny.
