From some postings of mine around the internet that nobody seems too interested in; to wit
“Why is the White House SO sensitive on this subject?
They won’t say squat about it. Here’s why and I have
the goods on them (this is information I received
personally from the subject of one such wiretap).
They have and are conducting electronic intercepts of
foreign citizens in their own countries, with the full
blessing of the foreign governments. Now how
embarrassing do you suppose it would be to a foreign
government (Saudi Arabia for instance, or Lebanon, or
Jordan, or Egypt, …) and have your citizens find out
that you authorized (legally or illegally) the
monitoring of virtually ALL of your country’s
telecommunication traffic?
The Administration (and the NSA specifically)
interprets the FISA statute to mean they are free to
monitor “US persons” conversations when the intercepts
happen on foreign soil and certainly when performed by
the intelligence services of foreign governments, even
when the activities are specifically requested and
directed by the United States government in total
conflict with the demands of FISA.
There are so many angles on why what Bush and his
Nazis say with respect to this activity just doesn’t
hold water, except when you bring in the information I
just gave you. Simple as this Mike; they are involved
in illegal electronic surveillance on US and foreign
citizens with full knowledge and cooperation of
foreign governments and their intelligence services.
The specifics: Several conversations by a acquaintance
of mine (were intercepted) with relatives living in
the middle east to the United States , who’s subject
was transfer of funding related to travel to an Asian
country which is well know to have a significant
number of active Islamic militants… I recently
reconfirmed the dates of the conversation which were
monitored. Also Mike, these were “US persons” on BOTH
ends of the conversation. How do I know they were
monitored? Because the government INSTANTLY (within a
minute or so) initiated a series of interviews with
other acquaintances who were familiar with the subject
and contents of the monitored conversations. I also
know the interview questions that were asked… Burn,
witch, burn!
Anyway, there is quite a bit more to it, but I’m sure
you get the drift… I am not mentioning names at this
point, but take it all for what it is worth. There is
MUCH more to what the NSA (and others) are doing in
terms of surveillance on “US persons”. The DOJ is up
to their eyeballs at high levels in a SERIOUS cover-up
of the administration’s illegal activities, as is CIA,
and DIA.”
Now don’t you suppose someone could help poor Senators Specter, Schumer, Leahy (I spoke to his office on another matter related to ‘Attorneygate’), and Feingold understand what is was that Gonzales has been and continues to be SO interested from reaching the Congress and citizens…
Have a nice day,
