Health care in the world’s wealthiest nation is in a state of crisis. As documented in Michael Moore’s successful movie, SICKO, not only are 47 million Americans completely without health insurance, but tens of millions more, who think they are “covered” discover, to their dismay, that they aren’t.
Progressive Democracy South Jersey (PDSJ), among many other progressive organizations, will be hosting a forum on healthcare on September 10th (Monday night) at the Student Center at Rutgers in Camden.
It is vitally important that ordinary citizens have an opportunity to tell their own “horror stories” about medical care denied or needlessly confused. Experiences will be shared and an expert panel will answer questions from the audience.
