We’ll nuke Iran – Bush promises Israel
Thu, 01/10/2008 – 16:08 – Wire Services – US President George W. Bush promised Israel’s opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu that the United States will join the Jewish state in a nuclear strike against Iran, Israel Radio reported today.
Former Prime Minister Netanyahu, opposition Likud party’s hardline chairman who opposes the US-backed Annapolis peace process, reiterated to President Bush his stance, that a pre-emptive nuclear strike against Iran’s nuclear installations was the only way to stop the Islamic nation’s nuclear weapons ambitions.
“I told him my position and Bush agreed,” Netanyahu told Israel Radio.
During their 45-minute meeting at King David hotel in Jerusalem Netanyahu also told Bush that “Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people and will remain under Israeli sovereignty for eternity.”

.
Is extraordinary in Israeli and US politics:
Assassination of PM Rabin – WTC Towers and 911 – Nuclear Attack on Iran in 2008?
Netanyahu
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
From WaPo:
More lies.
I wonder if Bush tells Netanyahu he will have to convert him to christianity before the WWIII kick off. It seems his foreign policy is taken from the book of revelations. Bush really thinks he is doing the work of some god. How do you get through to a Paranoid Schizophrenic? How do you explain to him that human life is more important than a storybook. The Christian and Jewish zealots have a lot more death in store for all of us.
No that link does not work please repost it.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told a powerful parliamentary panel on Monday that Israel rejects “no options” to block Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, a meeting participant said.

The statement was the Israeli leader’s clearest indication yet that he is willing to use military force against Iran.
“Israel clearly will not reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran,” the meeting participant quoted Olmert as telling the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. “All options that prevent Iran from gaining nuclear capabilities are legitimate within the context of how to grapple with this matter.”
The meeting participant spoke on condition of anonymity because the session was closed.
Olmert addressed the panel days after discussing Iran’s nuclear ambitions in talks with President Bush in Jerusalem.

Considering the disregard Bush has shown for the long-term future in recent public statements, I find this story to be entirely plausible. Has anyone else noticed his cheerful devil-may-care attitude in recent weeks?
“During their 45-minute meeting at King David hotel in Jerusalem Netanyahu also told Bush that “Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people and will remain under Israeli sovereignty for eternity.”
This is also Hillary’s position, among others that forsake the Palestinians.
There’s not really much difference between the Israeli political parties on many matters including Jerusalem and the sovereignty issue. Rabin said “Jerusalem will never be divided again,” and had in mind only 75% of the West Bank as a trade off (according to Kissinger). Labor, Kadima, Likud, they are all pretty much the same: hard line Zionist. Surprised that Bush even suggested a termination of the military occupation.
“wire services” doesn’t cut it.
which wire services?
what is the legitimate source?
It does seem that Olmert is renewing threats:
