Akha Ride For Freedom Grows

The Akha Ride For Freedom picks up steam as donors sign on to cover costs of the bus, and soon on the road, a winter departure, to beat winter into New York at the UN come nine months from now. But there is still much to do before we leave.

The Ride For Freedom is a trip by horseback across the US for Akha Human Rights. Family and volunteers will be participating, more than one horse, a bus for the children too small to ride for long.

Highlighting the Queen of Thailand taking away Akha land and the missionaries taking away Akha children in a scam like the one out of Darfur and Chad, we will work to educate Americans about the realities of life at the hands of globalization, the Drug War and the mission elite.

From Lincoln City, Oregon to the UN at New York, the trip will angle south and across the US as feed and weather dictate part of the journey.

We will be making daily Youtube videos and handing out literature to the public, making presentations.

The Akha are 500,000 people in SE Asia and have some of the harshest conditions.

70,000 live in Thailand where they are brutalized as minorities. The Queen of Thailand has taken large swaths of land and the missionaries remain silent while taking thousands of the Akha children. Far from site, the churches do or do not know what they are supporting. Religious arrogance and greed drive it.

In the US, the small Akha population of refugees and immigrants are being contacted and supported.
