   I have to agree. I’m tired of supporting those who think the end justifies the means. I think the means represent the end, and shoud be as honorable as possible in the difficult mess that is politics.

   I’m so disappointed in those who are not offended by these tactics.

   This will make you feel better. From the SF Chron today:

   Editor – I have attempted throughout my life to give a voice to the voiceless, hope to the hopeless, encouragement to the discouraged, and options to the cynical and complacent. From Northern Ireland to Sarajevo to Latin America, I have sung and marched, engaged in civil disobedience, visited war zones, and broken bread with those who had little bread to break.

   Through all those years, I chose not to engage in party politics. Though I was asked many times to endorse candidates at every level, I was never comfortable doing so. At this time, however, changing that posture feels like the responsible thing to do. If anyone can navigate the contaminated waters of Washington, lift up the poor, and appeal to the rich to share their wealth, it is Sen. Barack Obama. If anyone can bring light to the darkened corners of this nation and restore our positive influence in world affairs, it is Barack Obama. If anyone can begin the process of healing and bring unity to a country that has been divided for too long, it is Barack Obama. It is time to begin a new journey.

     All that I see is that a Clinton supporting diarist took exception to the LA Times article. In fact there was at least at the time of the article no denial from the Clinton campaign.

     That poster on DKos, has been in competition for months for the Taylor Marsh wannabe award.
     That post clinched it, the Taylor Marsh cesspool spills over to DKos by the Clinton PAID commentors.

   This is interesting – I must say that Bob Novak is a lot easier to take in print than on TV. His slimy anti-Clinton personality doesn’t offend quite so much now.

   With Clinton loyalist Ed Rendell running politics here in Pennsylvania we have been getting push polled for so long I now ask pollsters to put condoms on before starting their dance.

   Kerry did the same crap in 2004. Kerry is supporting Obama now so I have no doubt that, while he has not been caught at it yet, Obama will have someone doing the same things. He has too much right-wing support in the Democratic Party. Right-wingers think that this is legitimate politics.
