     I’m still in “Never count the Clintons out” mode, though.  O’s got big deficits to overcome in Texas and Ohio.

       Doyle was a confidante. It’s panic time.  But I think it’s the candidate’s brand that’s the problem.

       from what I know the Texas demo may not be the Clinton firewall as pundits are touting.

         I hope not.  Last I saw, the polls had Texas at 48-38% in Clinton’s favor, but that was a week or two ago, and only one firm has polled it in recent months.

         I want to see some upward movement from O in Ohio, too.  The Cleveland paper’s endorsement should help, but the demographics favor Clinton.

           raphics may prove them wrong

           CW thinks Texas is Hillary’s firewall. Imho, the new demographics may prove them wrong.

           I don’t think Texas or Ohio will be immune to Obama. And they’re not going to miss the significance of Ms. “Ready on Day One” having to lend her campaign money and having to change campaign managers midstream.

           As Obama said on Sixty Minutes tonight, why do we automatically equate longevity with accomplishment? He mentioned Google’s success relative to more established companies. What a zinger!

           They just didn’t see what was about to hit them. They still don’t. Ambers seems relatively bullish about the Clinton campaign. But then Maine took him by surprise too. They sure shouldn’t be under-estimated, but when a monarch’s coronation turns into a popular revolution, it’s really hard to put the crown back on straight.

     Initially, Clinton’s former White House chief of staff, Maggie Williams, was brought in to run the campaign even though Solis Doyle was still there. The result was confusion and awkwardness for the staff, who weren’t sure who was really in charge.

         But even more problematic was the campaign’s money crunch. Over the last seven years, Clinton had raised $175 million for her reelection and her presidential campaign. But Solis Doyle didn’t tell Clinton that there was next to no cash on hand until after the New Hampshire primary.

         “We were lying about money,” a source said. “The cash on hand was nothing.”

         In turn, Clinton didn’t tell Solis Doyle that she was lending her own money to keep the campaign afloat. Solis Doyle found out third-hand. And when she asked Clinton about it, the senator told her she couldn’t understand how the campaign had gotten to such a point.

     I’ve never seen the inner workings of the Clinton campaign up close, but I’ve always pictured an extremely efficient, professional operation, run by some of the most experienced Democratic staffers in the business. What I didn’t imagine was a campaign manager who didn’t tell the candidate they were running out of money, and a candidate who didn’t tell the campaign manager about a $5 million personal loan.

     Also, one report suggested the campaign’s finances were just part of the problem.

     Lying IS the trademark. Imho, the candidate is the problem. But go figure the burn rate on $107 million.

     To ALL Clinton supporters, just imagine the next 4 yrs? Oh forgot, there’s Bill and Rubin.

       this stuff is VERY hard to believe. She’s been planning this run for 4 years, probably more. She raised a ton of money and was not only the frontrunner but for a long time seemed like the inevitable candidate. I don’t like her triangulating politics but never questioned her brains, and I certainly assumed that her much-touted “experience” included how to run a campaign. But that’s not what we’re seeing!
