I remember the moment I first heard 1) Layla 2) Presence of the Lord (Blind Faith, Clapton/Winwood) and 3) Hotel California, another fine guitar-heavy thing, plus funny.
Layla is a wonder of an album. I recently bought it, and it’s been on heavy rotation.
they remind me of the Doobie Brothers quite a bit. Still excellent music.
