My housemate got a call yesterday and was invited to be trained as a community organizer in Philadelphia this evening.  The trainer?  Barak Obama.  
We all know he’s in Philly, but it’s been a mystery what he is doing here; at least to me.  Apparantly they selected people who showed extraordinary initiative in their volunteer efforts; and they are empowering them to be leaders, inspired from Obama himself.  

My housemate just got online on her own and started calling to get people registered before the deadline.  That initiative is what led to her invitation to this training.  

So keep up the volunteer efforts everyone.  Obama is watching each and every one of us.
