“How dare we be optimistic?” Belief. Behavior.
send this clip over to the Clinton’s campaign HQ. Be afraid.
Al Gore shares same values of hope with Obama
Oh please, the only thing Obama has is hope people will buy his empty rhetoric.
Obama shares little with Al Gore, except adopting few of his positions. But as it’s just empty rhetoric and he proposes too many policies contrary to solving Global Warming, with his Nukes, EXELON his big backer (as he’s shown to sell his votes for his donors) and his Liquid Coal Bill, pushing that one TWICE, even as environmentalists were screaming to pull it for 6 months, only when it ground to a halt in June. Obama should try more than name dropping and maybe listening to Al Gore…you know, like the only position he would hold in government again would be as PRESIDENT
Now, enjoy the policies Hillary will provide!

Thanks, Steven!
Those were 21 well worth minutes.
Steve, thank you so much for posting this. I received the alert from TED the same time and was just so excited to receive the alert from booman, that I came rushing over to watch it from here.
Bittersweet. This man is so incredible. Mind, passion, intelligence. I’m thrilled of his work and efforts, but ache so to my soul that we lose by focusing on the inconsequential and petty and not strive and be thrilled with the possibility of greatness that embodies Al Gore.
Boy, people have really drunk the kool-aid about Gore. They really need to look more closely at his record, both while he was in office and since then. He is a man who has spent his whole life promoting corporate interests (despite fancy talk claiming otherwise). He lost the 2000 election because he was far, far too corporate for the American people, and closely associated with the massive corruption of the Clinton-Gore administration (the dot-com scans, Enron, WorldCom, et al., all under Clinton-Gore). Since then he has been raking in huge amounts of money from corporate interests, well over $100 million so far, and rapidly increasing.
I don’t expect to convince anyone, since so many people have succumbed to his bull, but if anyone is interested in the truth just check out his finances. He’s as corrupt as anyone in the country. Believe it or not.
