Amazing- Israel itself is in negotiations with Hamas, but if Obama suggests we ought to talk to our enemies, he’s an “appeaser.”
Obama never suggested talking to Hamas, so he shouldn’t get any credit on that score.
I hear ya, but the point is that carrying on a dialogue with your adversaries is the smart thing to do. It beats war by a longshot.

Isn’t that something? Given his history, this is breathtaking…or getting right with God or the spiritual being of your choice…or karma/law of the universe/arc of justice.
You know, my father swears LBJ pushed the Civil Rights Act after making a deal with God to get out of going to Hell. He’ll undoubtedly think the same of this.
As Churchill put it, “Jaw, Jaw is better than War, War”, and the way he said it, it rhymed.
I think he also said something to the effect that he would enter into an alliance with satan if it would defeat hitler, which pushes the envelope even further.
