She made her bed and it seems a little messy.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.
Well, Clinton hails from several states. Perhaps she might try for one of those; say dog catcher in Scranton, PA, or where ever the famous groundhog icon resides.

OUTRAGED RFK KINS SAY HILL’S NOW TOAST
According to Wikipedia, the town peaked at about 10k and is now down around 6k.
Thanks for the link.
His Wesleyan speech was great, as usual, and clearly stamped him the successor to JFK’s “what can you do for your country” theme.
That’s right. She can be the Scranton dog-catcher, spending her evenings throwing back shots of high-end, very-bleh Canadian whiskey with the guys.
“There’s a pint of Yuengling with your name on it, Hill. Buh-bye.”
Go, Speed Racer, go!!!
I saw the film yesterday and loved it. I confess to being a hardcore Speed Racer fan in my youth. I even had a dream in the speed racer animation style and woke up thinking the mind was a truly wondrous thing!
It’s not really for kids or grownups. It’s for dreamers and activists and anyone who has ever wanted to visit a tropical island for the colors. It’s the most visually entrancing film I’ve ever seen.
I noticed a number of reviewers said it was too long. Well, the other movie I saw this weekend was the pretty stupid Indiana Jones one, and I was checking my watch in that one. Not so in Speed Racer.
I loved how they captured the style of the original series visually on one level (the angles and cuts) while inventing an entirely new visual style of their own. I’m tempted to see it again. It’s like that great dessert you can’t get out of your mind. 😉
I have to say, I had the exact opposite reaction to both. I was never a big Speed Racer fan back in the day so I missed a lot of what the fans saw, and I thought the movie was fine, but some of the really flashy CGI sequences made me feel glad I wasn’t susceptible to seizures.
On the other hand I really liked Indiana Jones. I’ve been waiting for an Indiana Jones sequel this good since the release of the second one (to which I had more or less the same reaction as you had to this one, and to this day I haven’t watched it again).
For the first positive review of the Indiana Jones movie I’ve stumbled upon (I’m not actively looking for reviews, since I refuse to watch it on principle).
Well, the local paper called it “quite good” and gave it an A-. Not that you care, most likely, which is why I’m not bothering to link to the review. 🙂
Diff’rent strokes for diff’rent folks. What can I say, de gustibus and all that.
Have you ever had a girl/boyfriend start a fight with you so that she/he could end the relationship? And if the first fight doesn’t do it there’s a second or fifth or fiftieth fight to get you to walk out. There’s very seldom the admission that it’s their intention to break up or why it’s their intention. Or how about a boss who orchestrates someone’s firing over something commonplace in the workplace? You know, the guy who’s fired for “stealing” a rubberband when everyone uses rubberbands and paperclips. There is the action, and then there is the hidden motive behind the action.
If I recall, Hillary’s first mention of the political calendar based on Bobby Kennedy’s murder was back in the middle of March, right around the Ides of March WHEN JULIUS CAESAR was assassinated. If I’m not mistaken, someone on her staff mentioned the anniversary of RFK’s murder as a campaign milestone along Hillary’s path to the White House, this right around the 40th anniversary of MARTIN LUTHER KING’s ASSASSINATION.
So this latest accidental reference to RFK’s assassination is no accident.
If you notice, most news reports today have forgotten her earlier “slip” and almost no one mentions her staff’s assassination calendar. However, Obama supporters know this. Here is a message that has been received differently for different groups.
What is the story out of Clintonworld? “Ah, no big deal, Obamatons are hysterical again, let’s move along, hey, Obama flipped off Clinton so he’s no saint either, yadayada…” Meanwhile, Obama supporters are correctly outraged because Clinton has just said, “I’m staying in the race just in case someone busts a cap on the black guy.” And then she scrupulously avoids apologizing to Obama.
As Booman has pointed out, staying in the race and talking about assassinations will not endear her to the rest of the party, and in fact will only further diminish her own chances of winning the White House, especially if Obama does get shot. Everything she does now not only divides the party, it pushes her farther from the nomination.
So why is she like the terrorist trying to get into the cockpit so that she can crash the plane? Because that’s what she is trying to do.
Her intention is to destroy the Dems. Some Obama supporters can see what she’s doing but presume it’s her selfishness that’s driving her. Her supporters can’t see anything at all through the fog of true-believing. But her intent to destroy the Dems is now clear. We not only need to recognize it but understand why and for whom she is doing this.
If it is true that Obama flatly rejected her as VP this last week, it might help explain some of her actions of late – comparing the FL & MI controversy to slavery, voting rights struggles, etc and her issuance of a permission slip to her nuttier supporters to assassinate her opponent.
It’s all so disgusting.
She now believes her own story line about being pushed out, disparaged for being a woman, etc.
