In the case of Crist, since being elected he sometimes has shown a propensity for simply doing the right thing. It’s worth stating that more than a few GOP hardliners in Florida don’t like him.
McCain will continue to be his own worst enemy.

I predict that a Welcome Wagon will open for business some time before midnight.
Cracking open the Airbus contract award dispute is going to pit McCain and his lobbyists front and center against his claim of siding with business and national security. Boeing will keep the fires lit under this all summer long. Darcy Burner & Christine Gregoire just got gifted a great sledge hammer for their campaigns.
Not to mention Rick Larsen and Adam Smith. Boeing has plants and huge numbers of employees in the Everett (Larsen) and Renton (Smith) areas. It’s not like they’ll need the help, but the Airbus fiasco will make voters in those districts (as well as Burner’s) think twice about voting for McCain in particular, and the GOP in particular.
Yeah, Rick Larson will know how to make hay out of this big time. I was really looking forward to seeing Rossi sweat when Gregoire brought it up.
Anything that makes Snake Oil Rossi sweat is just fine with me. He came too close to winning four years ago, and the only way I want him to see the inside of the governor’s mansion is if the Governor invites him on a tour.

my prediction is that those maverick groups that elect to defy obama’s wishes to centralize his campaign’s message will mix it up with the wrong people and distract from who obama is and what his leadership means for the country. their egos need to retire.
