My sense of personal probity says this should not be a matter of public spectacle – but GOP “baby momma” drama ? Priceless !
The GOP’s “holier than thou” public stance on all things sex and Palin’s decision to immerse her family in the clear and present “fish bowl” of Presidential politics, makes spectacle unavoidable .
I’d say this were Palin’s and her husband’s roles reversed : this is just too much , how does one decide to wade into Presidential Politics when you have a newborn with pressing needs and a teenage daughter trying to find her way through a pregnancy ? Palin’s decision smacks of either being more than a little of being self-absorbed or is a case of being naive beyond belief . Welcome to town Palins .
Maybe someone can explain to me how this matter is in anyway , a case of putting the family first ?
This looks increasingly like a pilot for one of those over-dramatized “god awful” reality shows -I find so mind-numbingly banal or an updated “Klondike version” of the Beverly Hillbillies .
If the Palins are truly as naive as this is looking – they are not just being exploited by McCain and the GOP – it borders on a mean disregard for this family’s well being not unlike that the GOP exhibits towards most American families .
