Normally, I’m not a big fan of privatizing government functions, but maybe the Bush administration should outsource all public pronouncements about the economic crisis until the next President takes office, because I don’t think it helps the situation any when they do talk about it. Like this completely idiotic (and unnecessary) statement by Dana Perino, for example:
But even after the bailout money starts flowing “we make no guarantees about what’s going to happen in the stock market going forward,” said Perino.
And asked what other steps the United States could take with its allies, Perino replied: “I don’t have anything new to announce to you. We’re trying to implement the program that we have.”
Sometimes Dana, silence is golden.
Vapid, brainless grasping cretins. Each and every one of them.
I can easily visualize Republicans, oars in hand, beating away drowning women and children from a half-empty lifeboat.
Getting the health care Plan ready for Pres. Obama
Kennedy focuses from home on health care overhaul
Troubling economy? Let me suggest where the money can be found. End the Iraq occupation – that’s $120 billion right there. The Obama plan expected to cost $5 billion year?
