I know there is not a lot to talk about these days, but there’s no point in speculating about every single anonymously sourced “leak” about cabinet appointments. It’s only slightly more productive to discuss the meaning of appointments if they were to take place. Having said that, I’d like to see some place in the administration for a few old lions: Bill Bradley, Gary Hart, and George Miller come to mind. But it doesn’t surprise or distress me that I know the names of almost no one on the transition team.

a great choice for NSA.
Almost all of them have resumes/bio that can be reached with Google.
And a significant number of them are impressive.
I predict that the GOP has some unpleasant self-examination coming…
Can’t see much light at the end of that tunnel…
