Admit it. You can’t stop watching that guy throw his shoes at Commander Codpiece. Mission Accomplished, indeed!!

fun it would be to see George in a glass booth having indictments thrown at him instead of shoes.
I can almost see the sweat on his forehead and the deer-in-the-headlights look in his eyes.
BBC files another report, putting the event into better context.

even that report was too kind.
Well I watched it four times before I took a nap. I have been awake less then 20 min could not find the clip immediately on TV. So I came here to watch it. As soon as I’m done typing I’m going to watch it again.
I think I’m in need of an intervention. Its seems to have a crack cocaine like effect.
I agree. And there is no way to spin it.
Go Giants I’m rooting for them tonight. T.O. is starting to tear the Cowboys apart it was just a matter of time…..
He just dropped one and got booed. Ha!
No offense so far. I need at least 15 fantasy points out of the Giants’ D to avoid elimination.
Ouch thats a tall order.
yeah, I pretty much need them to score and to hold Dallas to 6 points or less.
It’s a symbolic act that represents the feelings of much of the world, including many Americans.

It’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
you can see the guy bend down to get his second shoe off in this one!!
Watch it for hours on repeat, indeed….
On some of the videos you can also hear the guy screaming in pain after they knock him to the floor.
I have watched it a number of times in the last hour. Too funny.
I don’t want to laugh, but I couldn’t help it.
I’ll give Bush credit, he had good reflexes on dodging that first shoe. He should have been a professional dodgeball player rather than a politician.
I’ve always imagined that if I met Bush, I’d love to shove a pie in his face or calling him an asshole.
Throwing a shoe…not bad, as long as no one is actually really hurt. Poor Bush — this will be the lasting image of his final trip to Iraq. Quite appropriate, in a way.
Like Josh Marshall, I am kind of struck at how slow the Secret Service is to jump in front of Bush.
Would you take a shoe for that guy?
Preferably trained by Patches O’Hoolihan…
Dodging is Bush’s primary M.O. Vietnam, issues, etc……. He’s had lots of experience.
you can tell how their economy is, they can’t even afford a good “shoe bomb”….. ; )
what a shame…could’ve saved the taxpayers millions on the prosecution….LOL
The Chiefs should hire that journalist. He’s got a good arm!
Muntather Al Zaydi was beaten and has been imprisoned for his courageous act. There is an online petition asking the Iraqi authorities to release him.
You can also read a translation of his newspaper’s statement asking for his release.
Do you know anything of his personal story? I say release him and give him a medal.
I have heard that at one time he was “kidnapped” and abused, but it is not clear whether it was the Americans, the Iraqi “authorities”, or some criminals who kidnapped him.
I agree – he deserves a medal.
Wouldn’t it be nice on the day Bush moves out of the White House if a crowd would line the streets and pelt him with a hail of shoes as he leaves?
It’s the perfect capper to 8 years of epic fail.
