Republican Party leaders Tuesday tapped Assemblyman James Tedisco as their nominee in an upcoming special election to fill Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-N.Y.) vacated House seat.
“I’m honored to be the standard-bearer of our Republican Party,” Tedisco told The Hill Tuesday. “I plan on taking my record of achievement and dedication and work ethic… and bringing that effort to Washington, D.C.”
