It’s true, they walk amongst us.

Are Lilly’s eyes blue cause she is still so young or are blue eyes a possibility? She is cute, cute, cute!
Most puppies are born with blueish eyes, but like most humans, they darken with age. Only a few breeds of dogs have the possibility blue eyes (mostly “husky” type breeds), and those that do have them tend to have very pale blue ones.
What won’t change, and is fairly unique to Pyrs, is that you’ll always be able to see the whites of their eyes. It gives their eyes a distinctly human-like appearance.
Lily sits still while getting her hair “combed” by Luna.
That tickles!
They are so cute together.
Luna vacillates between exasperation with all of Lily’s gnawing on her, to wanting to play. Obviously it’s easier to get photos of the play bits.
Here’s a shot of Lily tugging on Luna’s rough while Luna tries to ignore her.
God, do you ever take a bad picture of those two? Each is cuter than the last.
Yes – thank god for digital cameras – I take at least 20 bad shots for every good one. Fortunately I have photogenic subjects or it would be even worse odds.
They refused to let me post any pictures this week — no way, they say, that they’re going to compete with that massive display of cute.
Awwwwwwwwwwww. Not even an April Fools photo?
Besides, Lily’s only got a month or two before the “puppy uglies” – that awkward stage between puppy fluff and adult hair that is spectacularly funky in Pyrs – sets in.
See what I mean?
What eyes! Teenage misery.
She was having a bad hair day.
That I can do. 😉

Dog and fool goes together like apple and pie.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I see bits of green in that picture. yay!
What are you doing up so early SN?
Oh BTW isn’t it green everywhere now? 🙂
It’s always greener over the septic field. 🙂
Are you shitting me?
Not a dog and not a “vampire,” but gray, white, fluffy and with a pink tongue…
Great photo! And nice kept within the color scheme and tongue theme.
I’m very fond of cats, but wouldn’t keep one here where they are a such big problem for the native critters. And Imogen is allergic.
Adorable picture. I love pictures with little bits of tongue sticking out but I’ve never seen one so surrounded by fur before. 🙂
and take time to smell the flowers.

Unfortunately, it’s not the flowers that dogs stop to smell.
We often joke that Luna doesn’t go for a walk – she goes for a “snort” instead.
I’m sitting here with the back door open listening to a very happy frog burring his love song, and some Green rosella parrots singing on the wing.
