I didn’t know Mormonism is thought to be a cult by Christian Conservatives and that John Smith is a false profit. I heard this a few years ago on a Christian radio station while traveling far off the interstate highway. It is clear the Republican Party has religious issues within their own party.
Michael Steele just said in public what most already know.
Are you saying that you believe that John Smith was a true prophet? He presented himself as a prophet, so that means that he was either a true prophet or a false one.
Christian fundamentalists’ belief that Mormonism is a cult and that John Smith was a false prophet is about the only thing they’re right about. (Unfortunately for everybody, they’re not really Christians, since they pretty much ignore the New Testament.)
I believe people can believe in whatever they want to believe—who or what is God. As long as they don’t try to force me to believe what they believe.
