   Technically, perhaps, but the story of what is apparently a racist right-wing hate murder of a Mexican-American man and his 9-year-old daughter on the Arizona border by Minuteman vigilantes just came out last Tuesday.

       (Wired) May 7, 2007 – The National Rifle Association is asking the Bush Administration to turn against a bill that would allow the government to prevent people put on a terrorist watch list from buying a firearm, saying that power would allow the government to arbitrarily deny citizens’ their Second Amendment rights.

   Possibly. But not likely. How many police murders occurred? YOU know…not cops getting shot but rather cops doing the shooting? And how many American policemen are indeed “right-wing nut-jobs?” I have some family in the police business and let me tell you…the percentage is frighteningly high.

   Now let us speak of other countries.

   And why not?

   Osama bin Laden, 2004.

   By what measure of kindness are your killed considered innocents while ours are considered worthless? By what school [of thought] is your blood considered blood while our blood is water?

   How many of our soldiers…and the percentage grows as you look further up in rank, bet on it…how many of our soldiers could quite justifiably be called “right-wing nut-jobs?”

   Too damned many.

   And too damned many innocent people have been murdered and otherwise injured by their actions.

   Bet on that as well.

   Is this feel-good system that has been imposed upon us from above by the newly dominant so-called left-wing media (Leftiness-wing at its worst, the Newsweek/Daily Beast/MSNBC crew) so overarching that we no longer call out the real right-wing nutcases who populate the PermaGov layer of this country? Have we listened so unquestioningly to so many of President Obama’s (undoubtedly necessary in a political sense) laudings of our brave servicemen and servicewomen that we forget the US-sponsored carnage that has raged for over 100 years in the brownish nations of the world?

   Please.

   Did we just go a whole week without some right-wing nut-job killing someone in this country?

   The question is an empty shell, Booman. God grant that at least some of us…the youngest among us, most likely…live long enough to see a week go by where no one is injured in any way whatsoever  due to the actions of right-wing, left-wing, centrist-wing or no-wing-but-their-own greed Americans.

   But don’t hold your breath.

   I’m not.

   I repeat:
