   Actual GOP Politician: I Am Actually Threatening Murder in Public for Real!

   What’s that? Some Republican delegate nominee in Virginia is threatening to start shooting people with a gun if she continues to have to pay more taxes than she would prefer?

   “I am glad for all of us who enjoy the use of firearms for hunting, but make no mistake, that was not the intent of the Founding Fathers. Our Second Amendment right was to guard against tyranny.”

   Yes, that’s an idiotic and irresponsible thing for a politician like this Catherine Crabill lady to be shouting to a bunch of crazy rednecks shortly after a string of right-wing-extremist-related murders, especially for matters of “tyranny” as trivial as the ones she’s upset about.

   
   No sweat, we know how she ended her life.

   hmm…not so sure it’s as much a veiled assassination threat as it is a rather blatant call for insurrection, ie: sedition:

   …A person commits the crime of advocating the violent overthrow of the federal government when she willfully advocates or teaches the overthrow of the government by force, publishes material that advocates the overthrow of the government by force, or organizes persons to overthrow the government by force. A person found guilty of seditious conspiracy or advocating the overthrow of the government may be fined and sentenced to up to 20 years in prison. States also maintain laws that punish similar advocacy and conspiracy against the state government.

   First Booman- I am slightly  perturbed that there isn’;t a rush to post re this insanity. But, after pausing for a moment, it becomes much more apparant given the fact that there appears to be very little activity on such other items as buchanan on msnbc, grassley on taxes, bachman on the census,- nothing surprises me.
     All I can add is that as the verbiage intensifies, I wonder what it will take for the public to stand up and at least attempt to quell this destructive, violent assault on the rule of law.
