Odd to see an anti-choice protester get gunned down instead of doctors and nurses who provide family planning services. The anti-choice group wants to see us condemn this murder. That’s easy, I condemn it. Why would you think for a moment that pro-choice people would fail to condemn murder?
It’s too early to know the motive, but it’s worth noting that the killer also murdered the owner of a gravel company before they were taken into custody. Seems like they were having a bad day, and an ideological motive may have been lacking.
I condemn all murders.
I’d like to know if as alleged the suspect in custody shot another person and why the police consider the murders related.

A witness provided a license plate number and about an hour later, Owosso police arrested a 33-year-old Owosso man at his home. When he was arrested, the man told police that he had been involved in another homicide in Shiawassee County today.
About 8:17 a.m., an hour after Pouillon was killed, a worker at Fuoss Gravel Pit called 911 to report that he had found the owner of the business dead in the office. Police found Mike Fuoss, 61, shot multiple times in the office. Fuoss knew the suspected shooter, according to Shiawassee County Sheriff George Braidwood.
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
Police are now saying a third person was also targeted by the gunman.

Shouldn’t that read anti-choice advocate?
Why are abortion protests taking place outside a high school?
I was wondering the same thing.
Maybe pushing abstinence wasn’t enough for these folks? I’m really wondering what the rest of the story is.

Owosso, MI (LifeNews.com) — Jim Pouillon was known as the sign guy by resident of this otherwise sleepy local community 45 minutes northeast of Lansing, Michigan. But Pouillon was shot Friday morning as he did what he did best — hold his pro-life sign outside of a local high school letting students and teaching know some of their peers are missing.
Judy Climer, president of Flint Right to Life, described Pouillon to the Flint Journal newspaper as “just a nice, elderly gentleman who was disabled, used an oxygen tank and wore leg braces.”
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
Why didn’t he offer to do something to actually help young single mothers instead of sitting there with what I can only assume was a gruesome sign?
They used to do that outside my kids’ high school in Ohio. I was incensed. They were on the property of the religious school across the street.
How come they can do that, but the “Bong Hits 4 Jesus” kid (remember him?) couldn’t?
It’s what happens when people believe their own caricatures of their adversaries – it’s why terrorists hate our freedoms, people of faith want to legislate religion, and atheists are amoral nihilists…
And wanted to force young high school girls to ruin their lives because of his religious convictions. Was he really any different from those Taliban who kill girls for learning to read?
His beliefs are reprehensible but I don’t think he should have died for them. I hope the killer is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
