Casual Observation

A small sliver of me still holds on to the expectation that our Congress will set a positive example and not act like third-graders. I am going to be a father soon, and I’d like it if my government didn’t serve as constant counterexample to how I’d like my child to behave. But it’s currently hopeless. It’s a constant mud-fight. And no one seems to know what the word ‘shame’ means anymore.
