Hello again painting fans.
This week I’ll be continuing with the painting of the towered Cape May house. I will be using the photo seen directly below.
I’ll be using my usual acrylics on a small 5 by 5 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
In beginning the process of turning a collection of lines into a finished painting, I’ve attempted to cover all of the bare canvas. The sky now has its first layer of paint. I’ve carried this same color over to the sidewalk and the body of the house. On the left side, a darker blue denotes the shaded portions. There will eventually be the details seen in the photo.
There is much work to come.
