Remembering Martin

April 16th, 1967.

This took place during Operation Junction City. King said the war had strengthened the forces of reaction in our country and excited violence and hatred among our people. He said that the Great Society, with its noble programs had, in a sense, been shot down on the battlefields of Vietnam. King was right.
