An interesting link. There is much to be said for both sides of that split.
I’m guessing this obituary is a result of Booman following the adage, “if you can’t say anything good about somebody, etc….”
But I’m looking forward to the NYT obituary. He had a long, interesting career, and my memory is that it wasn’t all bad.
