Reid’s Wife and Daughter Injured

Here is some upsetting news:

Sen. Harry Reid’s wife and daughter were hurt in a car accident Thursday and were taken to a Washington-area hospital for treatment.

Reid’s (D-Nev.) wife, Landra, age 69, and daughter Lana Reid-Barringer, 48, were involved in a car accident in Virginia. Reid spokesman Jon Summers confirmed the accident in a statement.

Landra suffered a broken neck and back but is not paralyzed. She also broke her nose.

Lana received lacerations to the face.

So far, they believe both of them will be okay, but his wife is undergoing tests. They were rear-ended on I-95 by a semi which pushed them into the two cars in front of them.

I wish the Reid family a speedy recovery.
