Well that was depressing.
Obama took the occasion of McC’s termination to re-affirm his commitment to a failed and impossible strategy in Afghanistan, and to do it in full terror-warrier C-in-C mode. I guess the media got the tough-guy daddy-talk that it wanted.
I just have one question. Is the leadership of Al Queada in Afghanistan? If not, why the hell are we in Afghanistan?
I know, I know it’s pro forma presidential talk, but lord I’m tired of hearing about how super-awesome our military is. It’s just a little too imperial for my taste thank you.
