I’m guessing that by now you’ve looked at a map and figured out just how far out of the way the fried biscuits are and won’t be coming to get some … though I’d be delighted to hear I’m wrong. 🙂
Way far out of the way, and with teenagers itching to get home…and some not-so-fun family drama…
I think we need to plan another get-together where we’re not trying to squeeze so much stuff into one trip, so we can come see you and the pack and the woods and the fried biscuits. 🙂
I understand. We’re quite a distance off the beaten track, which is one reason its an attractive place (at least to us) to live. We really enjoyed getting together with Errol, Andi & Jim a few weeks ago, not to mention the major treat of getting to eat at Shapiro’s! Looking forward to doing the same with you 3 one of these days!
from the sunny shores of Lake Michigan…
Wow, this is the longest I’ve been unplugged in forever. It’s been nice to take a break, though.
We’ve had the most incredibly awesome weather, and today looks like another great day. Why can’t this happen at home?
Looks like Finn is having a great time!
So, you’re still there?
Finn looks like he’s having one fine ole time. Glad you are too.
It is happening here. The weather has actually been cooperating now that we’re preparing for our own getaway. Sigh.
where are you getting away to? (so nice that here in the pond there are no grammar police)
We’ll be off to New Mexico one day soon.
what a beautiful part of the country – drove around there last summer. The colors are overwhelming. will you do some painting?
Cool – looking forward to photos!
What part of New Mexico are you going to?
If you’re anywhere near Chaco Canyon, it’s more than worth the long drive down the bad road (not passable in a car if it’s been raining though).
What a great picture!!! have a great time!! I sure wish I could be there

Hey! Don’t forget us;-)
We wouldn’t forget you! I’m sorry we couldn’t swing down there this trip.

Well any time is fine with us but the best (prettiest with the nicest weather) months to visit here are May and October.
This one’s from our camping trip to the Poconos:
Such a serious expression!
Awwwww!
Wait! Don’t take my picture yet, my hair’s a mess!
Fly-by hi & hope everyone’s having a great weekend!
We’re getting much needed rain today, thank Gaia.
Hay WW! You too!
Howdy, howdy. Hope you come back by for a longer stay soon.
No rain here and it’s desperately needed. But glad you’re getting some.
