Hello again painting fans.

This week I’ll be continuing with the painting of the Ferrari F430.  I will be using the photo seen directly below.

I’m using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time, I have continued to work on the painting.

I wasn’t able to accomplish as much as I would have liked for this week.  NN11 took most of my available time, leaving little for installment 306.  I did manage to push ahead with some details.  The air extractor (below the license plate) now appears as it should.  Note that the ridged sections are lit and the recessed portions are shadowed.  To each side, the exhausts now poke through their respective ports, two to each side.  (The one to the right is a bit too low and may need some revision.)   Above, the marker lights now appear in red.  The tires and rims now await only their final details.  Things are going fairly well but there is much left to do.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

That’s about it for now. Next week I’ll have more progress to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.
