I have a quick note for our readers in Pittsburgh. Rumproast blogger StrangeAppar8us has been in the hospital for the last ten days fighting for his life. For privacy reasons, we don’t know the specifics of his illness, but we do know that he won’t be able to care for his three cats. I read Rumproast daily (right after The Booman Tribune) and I was sorry to hear the news about Strange. I’m not in a position to adopt more pets, as we already have two rescued cats and a dog, but I will keep the positive thoughts going to him.

Multiple cats already, East Coast location, or I’d take all three — they must be bewildered and scared with their human gone, and splitting them up (though likely necessary) won’t help. Best wishes for all!
