Apparently, the clown car has assembled on CNN. Anybody care? Anybody watching? Is Santorum locking this thing up or blowing his opportunity?

Santorum and Romney are going at each other. I find it repellant, it doesn’t make either of them look good. Whoever wins will end up damaged.
Let’s hope so. But I seem to remember similar predictions re the Clinton/Obama primary battle.
In part this is because the majority of American voters are more focused on schlepping their way to work, hoping they can afford a vacation for the family in the summer.
Most don’t pay attention to politics until September-October.
At best this provides some nice clips for the Dems to use as ammo.
It’s hard to tell, given that the audience is packed with Romney and Paul supporters. Santorum’s been booed a few times, but that’s no indication of how his points are getting out nationally. I’m having trouble focusing on the debate, so to me they all seem to be coming across as ineffective. Foreign policy and Iran is coming up in a few minutes.
I confess: I’ve always hated clowns.
Top 10 scary clowns. Do not view just before bedtime. Maybe some of these current idiots will make the list next time
going to look at it tomorrow morning when I’m ready to face scary clowns
Indianadem,
Here`s one for your collection, & for Wilderness Wench to hate.
It looks like some of the republicans around here. Very scary indeed.
Overall I think Newt came out looking the best, although he got comparatively little time to talk. Actually that’s probably what helped him come out looking better.
When he stepped in, he seemed, in comparison to Romney and Santorum, to be more relaxed and easy going, and was able to project to some extent a more above-the-fray persona. Romney and Santorum seemed a lot more agitated and strident, but they also dominated the debate in terms of time spent talking.
I don’t think this is going to change anything in Arizona, and little if anything in Michigan, but I hope Newt gets some uptick out of it, because that will of course lead to more hilarity down the line.
And cause Adelson to piss away more money.
I remain blissfully ignorant of the latest Republican televised WTFathon!
Went to a Women for Obama house party and met some new volunteers. We had a thoughtful discussion of issues that are important to us and how each of us can be engaged in the campaign and in our President’s second term.
I can’t stand listening to these jerks but I do think that they are giving team Obama a huge assist. Every single person at our gathering last night is ready to fight to preserve reproductive rights. We are way past enough is enough with being told that we are incapable of making our own choices!
our new piggie of the week is all about the GOP and the unintended consequences of Citizens United! Posting now!
