I don’t know how many soccer fans we have at the Frog Pond but I’m fired up for the first Philly Union match of the season. The Portland Timbers’ fans are awesome.

Arsenal beat Newcastle in the last minute today and that was kind of cool since they are now 1 point behind their Norf London rivals. But I have never seen an MLS game (or a prem game for that matter) at a stadium. I have been thinkingn of going to see a Red Bulls game since Theirry Henry plays for them now. might be an opportunity to meet up at at Red Bulls Union game!
Wow, the Union played great until they scored. And then they played like 8th graders for the rest of the match.
I’d love to take in a game, but it would be a 7 hour drive to KC. Next weekend, I will re-qualify as a ref.
