After the deluge of money spent in Wisconsin, there are basically no undecided voters left. The reputable polls are all close and within the margin of error. What we’re going to see today is two gigantic pairings of organizations going to war to see which can bring a higher percentage of their base out to the polls. On one side you will have the Republican Party and the Tea Party and the would-be oligarchs like the Koch Brothers. On the other side, you have the Democratic Party and progressive organizations and unions made up of teachers and police officers and firefighters and civil servants. If you want to do your part rather that just sitting around all day waiting for results, you can sign up here to make phone calls between 2:30-5:00 (Eastern time). You’ll be working to make sure Democrats actually go to the polls, so the call recipients will be sympathetic to your purpose.

The Republicans are feeling very confident, but the election will be decided today, on the ground, and on the phones. So, please, set aside some time this afternoon to help push our base out to voting booths. It’ll make you feel better.
