When the completion date for your flagship product gets delayed from 2010…to 2011…to 2012…to 2013;
And your company is selling tax credits it hasn’t received;
And your company’s CEO takes a sudden and unexplained leave of absence;
And your company stops making payments to the employees’ health insurance plan;
And your company lists over 1,000 creditors in its bankruptcy filing;
And then you go on the radio to explain, “It all happened so fast. It’s been kind of a surreal 60 days…“,
there are only a few possible explanations:
- You’re delusional.
- You haven’t been doing your job.
- You’re lying.
None of which reflects well on Curt Schilling.
