I did a recent write-up about Archbishop T. Dolan, Paul Ryan and Catholic Teachings.

The happy Irish archbishop of New York reminds me of the jolly pastors of a different era. An era where their teachings only met approval and were in harmony with the town’s notables: the well educated, wealthy few (1%). I figured, let’s see what kind of political statements does a new President of the USCCB make.

I beg your pardon reverend, you missed a few lines the late pope John Paul II wrote in his papal letter. He spoke of the totalitarian Marxist state, not about a liberated Western Europe. It’s about leadership, fraternal love and being there in person to get the unemployed, poor and abused back on track in society so the provider earns an honest wage and can care for his/her family. I’m thinking along the lines of community assistance, neighbours, buddies and the nuns (sister Theresa) who devote their lives in service of the meek, poor and sick. What you say about a universal coverage of the sick through health care? The elderly bishops of the Vatican do make some gaffes and attack the social work of American nuns.

Bright fellow Mitt Romney with his shiny credentials as business CEO just released a new ad expressing himself in terms of the wealthy being in harmony with the late pope en a recent endorsement by Lech Walesa. Affordable Health Care is an attack on religious freedom.

Polish Labor Isn’t Happy To See Romney

(The Nation) – “Solidarność is in no way involved in the organization of this meeting nor had the initiative to invite Mitt Romney to Poland,” the 700,000-member union announced.

BooMan, the Obama campaign could make a nice response on this attack ad by using the labor movement Solidarność and the discrimination againt women doing great social work for the needy and sick. I’m sick of wealthy men in powerful positions going to war (commanding) and abusing women.
