No one could have predicted that Mitt Romney would get hammered for politicizing the deaths in Benghazi. Idiot.
Glen Doherty was one of four Americans killed in the September 11 attack on the U.S. consulate.
Romney met Doherty at a Christmas party.
7News spoke with Doherty’s mother.
“I don’t trust Romney. He shouldn’t make my son’s death part of his political agenda. It’s wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama,” said Barbara Doherty, Glen’s mother.
There was no response from the Romney camp.
They’ll be lucky if Ms. Doherty isn’t in a 30-second advertisement by tomorrow evening. What did I say?
Take any one of those men’s widows and/or children and cut a 30-second ad of them scolding Romney for trying to become president on the back of their husband and father, and Team Mitt will be reduced to a smoldering pile of rubble…
…They will have the taste slapped out of their mouths.
Mothers work best of all. And Team Romney will deserve it.
