David Petraeus has resigned as director of the CIA after admitting he had an extramarital affair. According to his letter of resignation, Petraeus asked President Barack Obama on Thursday to allow him to resign. The president accepted on Friday.
Do you believe in fairytales?
If every high-ranking Federal official who had an affair were to resign, Obama would soon get writer’s cramp preparing acceptance letters and Washington would quickly grind to a shuddering halt. And…so soon after (Christmas) a successful election, too!!!
I wonder what the real story is.
Somewhere around the Benghazi screwup is my immediate guess.
